Not sure how long this sale will go on but this is a great opportunity for a new Canon DSLR owner to try a fast prime lens for cheap without paying huge bucks.

If you not sure what a prime lens is, it is a lens with a fixed focal length – 50mm in this case and lets you take extreme close up shots (18 inches in this instance).

Cheap lens usually means giving up on quality, but this lens optics does get some good reviews and the customer pictures at Amazon will give you an idea of what this lens is capable of, which is a lot.

For instance, the faster Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens costs around $350!

You can read more about it’s features and compatibility and user reviews at

If you just recently bought one of the best selling digital SLR cameras or wanting to try out prime lens without paying an arm or a leg, you should consider adding this lens to your arsenal.

Oh, and consider adding this Tiffen 58mm UV Protection Filter to protect your lens.
