Canon has released firmware 1.1.0 for Canon Rebel T1i / EOS 500D DSLR camera.
Firmware Version 1.1.0 incorporates the following fixes and improvements.
- Enhances the reliability of Live View shooting
- Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, English, and Swedish menu screens
Firmware Version 1.1.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.9. If the camera’s firmware is already Version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
Unfortunately, a lot of us Canon Rebel T1i owner’s wish of getting manual aperture control for T1i video have been dashed at least in this firmware release.
