If you are left handed or need to take some pictures with your left hand, it is downright impossible to do it as all cameras have a right side grip and shutter button.
Turning your DSLR camera upside down can help you grip the camera with your left hand and use your pinky finger to press the shutter instead of your thumb. But, the grip is kinda horrible and it will feel like the camera is about to slip away anytime.
Instructables have put together a clever little DIY trick using a small strip of Aluminum.
The little grip will make sure the camera doesn’t slip out of your hand while you are shooting left handed.
